Dr. Patricia Chao was born and raised in Houston, Texas, before attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After braving a few winters in Chicago, she and her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey, made their way west to California about ten years ago. They’ve happily settled in Santa Clara, where they’re raising two daughters, and son.
In her practice, Dr. Chao loves combining compassionate care with the latest dental technology. She has a special focus on same-day crowns and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. As an Invisalign Gold Provider, she has completed extensive training and experience in clear aligner therapy, helping patients straighten their teeth with advanced, customized treatment plans.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chao enjoys hot yoga, traveling with her family, and staying involved in her community. She is proud to call Santa Clara home and feels grateful to be raising her family here.
